Kitchen Design Case Study – Nothing Ordinary

This kitchen was originally a rabbit warren of small rooms. To create the large, open space requested by my clients, walls were removed and loads of cupboards were added, along with a huge island, consisting of a single slab of beautiful white granite. A unique piece of chocolate brown marble appears to float above the island and seats four comfortably.

This heart of the home includes a lounge with comfy seating and a wall-hanging TV opposite the island. These creative clients requested a design that would look nothing like a standard kitchen. Brightly coloured walls, open shelves, a splash back of metal mosaic tile that seems to walk along the walls, are all elements that helped to satisfy the brief. Plus with all the mod cons, including two sinks, double ovens, high end modular cooktop and large pantry cupboard, this is truly a dream kitchen!
