A Dream House for Sale
The builders who bought this section, with plans to build a large luxury home to sell on, soon realised they would be well served by the assistance of a designer to guide them in selecting materials and finishes. The purchase price of the property included architect’s plans for the exterior design and interior layout. However, no details were specified.
I advised on all aspects of the project, from ceiling soffit design, to the selection of products used throughout the house, including floors, hardware, tile, paint colours, even the style of roof shingles! I designed and selected all materials for the kitchen and master bath. I also designed the window seat that was added to the family room, chose the front door and selected all light fixtures, both inside and out.
